Early 2010

  • 950 train journeys per day, services running seven days a week
  • Staff numbers increased by around 400

During 2010

  • East London Line open – up to 12 trains per hour through core route

Late 2010

  • All station refurbishments and system upgrades finished
  • Major upgrade of track and signalling on North London Line complete
  • Increased train lengths and extra capacity on North London Line
  • 1,100 train journeys per day on London Overground
  • Over 1,000 staff employed by LOROL

During 2011

  • The link joining the North London Line to the East London Line opens
