Station Assistants
Our Station Assistants have an essential role to play as they welcome and offer assistance to customers. Excellent communication skills are critical as these individuals will be advising on ticket types and giving information relating to the train service. Additional responsibilities include facility checks and making PA announcements.

The key requirements of the role are the confidence to communicate with a wide range of people and maintain a professional and courteous approach even in challenging situations.
We are looking for individuals who have excellent customer service skills, are self-motivated and demonstrate ‘a can do’ attitude to problem solving.

Conductors
Our train conductors interact with customers in a professional and positive manner throughout the day. Through their operational responsibilities these individuals ensure a safe and secure environment is provided for all passengers.

A thorough route knowledge enables conductors to answer customer queries and offer informed solutions thereby ensuring great customer service.
Despatching trains, maintaining communications with the driver and making public announcements are all part of the conductor role.
You will need to be flexible enough to work shifts over various locations, have excellent customer service skills and demonstrate a ‘can do’ approach to problem solving.

Customer Host
Customer Hosts are the customer service ambassadors for the company.
They exceed our customer’s expectations and are highly visible on our stations in order to respond to customers needs. They represent a reassuring presence, providing information to customers whilst dealing with service disruptions in a proactive manner.

Customer Hosts also protect revenue by selling travel products and monitoring the gate line in a friendly and professional manner. They are responsible for the ticket machines and support customers in their use of these.
They also play an important role in safety, monitoring CCTV, undertaking and recording security searches and dealing with evacuation plans as required.
To be considered for this role you will need to be a solution led individual who has a positive attitude and can be flexible within the role.
